2% payzy cashback with QR Code Payments
The company “COSMOTE PAYMENTS – ELECTRONIC MONEY SERVICES SINGLE MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME” (hereinafter referred to as “COSMOTE Payments” or the “Organizer”), headquartered in Maroussi, Attica (99 Kifisias Avenue), rewards users of the payzy application (hereinafter the “Application”) with 2% payzy cashback (hereinafter the “Reward Campaign”) for payments made from their Payment Account in the Application through scanning a Quick Response Code (QR Code) within the Application, when purchasing products and/or services exclusively from participating merchants listed in the “payzy pro spots” section of the Application (hereinafter the “Participating Merchants”).
The purpose of these terms (hereinafter the “Terms”) is to define the conditions for participation in the Reward Campaign.
1. Eligibility
The Reward Campaign is open to permanent residents of Greece who:
Have full legal capacity,
Are at least 18 years old,
Are registered users of the Application, and
Hold a payment account with COSMOTE Payments in their name
(hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Participant(s)”).
2. Duration
The Reward Campaign became effective on 31 January 2025.
COSMOTE Payments reserves the right to terminate the Campaign at any time, provided that Participants are informed in advance through any appropriate means, as further described in Clause 16 below.
3. Reward
Participants receive Coins equal to 2% of the value of each transaction completed via QR Code at Participating Merchants, in accordance with the applicable terms of the Coins Loyalty Program, available [here].
4. Limitation of Liability
COSMOTE Payments’ responsibility is strictly limited to the allocation of Coins.
COSMOTE Payments bears no responsibility and has no involvement in any issues arising from the products and/or services provided by Participating Merchants, who remain solely responsible for them.
In the event that a QR Code transaction is unsuccessful or rejected for any reason, no Coins will be awarded.
5. Monthly Reward Cap
The maximum total number of Coins that a Participant may receive under these Terms for QR Code transactions is 15,000 Coins per month.
Once this limit is exceeded, no additional rewards will be granted for further eligible transactions within the same month.
6. Eligible Transactions
The Reward Campaign applies exclusively to transactions completed through QR Code payments within the Application.
Any other payment method is excluded, including but not limited to payments made using the Application’s virtual or physical card, regardless of transaction value.
7. Storage of Coins
Coins awarded under the Campaign are stored in the Participant’s Coins Account within the “Coins” section of the Application.
8. Awarding and Redemption of Coins
Coins are credited automatically upon successful receipt by COSMOTE Payments of the relevant payment instruction.
The use and redemption of Coins are governed by the applicable terms of the Coins Loyalty Program, available [here].
9. Disclaimer
The Organizer shall not be liable to Participants or any third party for any direct or indirect damages, expenses, or losses arising from interruption, malfunction, delay, or any other cause related to the implementation of the Reward Campaign.
Personal Data Processing
10. Data Controller
The Data Controller is the Organizer:

For participation in the Reward Campaign, the following personal data of Participants are collected and processed:
Full name of the customer making the payment via QR Code
Number and total value of transactions completed via QR Code
Date and time of QR Code payment execution
Total payment amount of each QR Code transaction
Payment account details maintained with COSMOTE Payments
In addition, the following information relating to Participating Merchants is collected and processed:
Merchant business name where the payment was made
Date and time of QR Code creation
Tip amount, if any, included in the QR Code payment
Device number accepting the QR Code payment
Payment account number maintained with COSMOTE Payments
These data are processed for the purpose of granting the reward described in these Terms and for fulfilling the contractual relationship between Participants and COSMOTE Payments, under which Participants maintain a payment account enabling QR Code transactions.
The relevant data are retained for five (5) years from the transaction date. Thereafter, they are deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law or regulation, which in no case shall exceed ten (10) years (e.g., for tax purposes).
11. Participants’ Rights
Data subjects have the following rights under applicable data protection legislation:
Right of Access: Receive information regarding the processing of their personal data and obtain copies thereof.
Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to Erasure: Request deletion of personal data where legally applicable.
Right to Restriction of Processing: Request limitation of processing activities.
Right to Object: Object to the processing of personal data under certain circumstances.
Right to Data Portability: Receive and transmit personal data to another controller.

Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
COSMOTE Payments will respond to requests free of charge within one (1) month. In exceptional cases, this period may be extended by up to two (2) additional months.
13. Data Security
The Organizer implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, access, or any other unlawful processing.
14. Third-Party Websites
To the extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be responsible for any disclosure of personal data resulting from Participants sharing information through third-party websites or online platforms.
15. Additional Privacy Information
Clauses 9-15 apply specifically to personal data processed in connection with this Reward Campaign.
All other processing activities relating to the Participant’s contractual relationship with COSMOTE Payments (including registration with payzy and payment transactions) are governed by COSMOTE Payments’ General Privacy Notice.
General Terms
16. Changes to the Campaign
The Organizer reserves the right to:
Amend or withdraw any provision of these Terms,
Modify the duration of the Reward Campaign,
Change the Coin reward rate per transaction,
Modify the allocation, use, or redemption process of Coins,
provided that Participants are informed through appropriate means, such as email, push notification, SMS, or publication on the company’s website.
17. Acceptance of Terms
Participation in the Reward Campaign constitutes explicit and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
The Organizer shall not be liable for any disruption resulting in the temporary or permanent suspension of the Campaign.
18. Participant Conduct
Participants must act lawfully and in accordance with good commercial practices and these Terms.
If COSMOTE Payments determines that a Participant’s conduct is unlawful, abusive, or in breach of these Terms, it may, among other measures, exclude the Participant from the Campaign.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Greek law.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation and/or implementation of these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece, to the exclusion of any other jurisdiction.
